The Disney+ app will no longer be supported on select older models of Apple devices starting next month.
Disney+ and Apple

Disney+ has contacted affected subscribers by email, Reddit users report. While the email does not state exactly what devices will not be supported, the Disney+ Help Center states the app currently supports Apple iPhones and iPads with iOS 16.5 or later, and Apple TV (4th generation or later) running tvOS 16 and later.
Apple also has a full list of “obsolete” products.
Beginning on December 1, 2025, the Disney+ app will no longer work on these devices. Users with older Apple TVs may still stream Disney+ via AirPlay from another device.
Coming soon to Disney+ is The Fantastic Four: First Steps, a Prep & Landing sequel, and a new Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert film and docuseries.
Will you still be able to watch Disney+ on your Apple device? Let us know in the comments and on social media.
