Coral Reef Ending Lunch Service in EPCOT

According to the My Disney Experience app, the Coral Reef Restaurant is ending its lunch service in January. The EPCOT restaurant is located in The Seas pavilion and offers beautiful aquarium views.

Coral Reef Restaurant Reservations

Currently, Coral Reef lists lunch as being available from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., daily with dinner service reservation available from 3:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. As shown in the screenshots above, reservations are available for both seatings through January 3, 2025. However, beginning January 4, there are no longer lunch reservations offered.

The reservation calendar currently lists dates through January 15 with only dinner reservations available, with dining options between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.. leaving only the dinner option for guests looking to dine at Coral Reef.

Disney has not revealed if this is a temporary or permanent change.

Coral Reef features Florida Coastal Cuisine with “ocean-fresh specialties and other classic favorites crafted with Florida flare:”

Marvel at the multicolored magnificence of our living coral reef—all while you dine! Panoramic windows give every table an insider view into the awesome, underwater world of The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

The Seas is one of the largest man-made ocean environments on the planet, and holds enough water to fill 54 Olympic-sized swimming pools! The meticulously crafted habitat has been designed by marine scientists to enrich the lives of approximately 2,000 sea creatures—more than 60 aquatic species!—that call The Seas home.

As you dine, be sure to look for sharks, sea turtles and rays as they swim in this wondrous coral reef.

Although the restaurant has had its up and downs through the years, we decided to give Coral Reef Restaurant another try last year as part of a Candlelight Processional Dining Package. Overall, we felt that the location has stepped up its game. We had a great meal with the always great view. There are a lot of dining options at EPCOT, but you should keep Coral Reef on your radar.
