Officer Clawhauser will appear in the same outfit as his Zootopia: Better Zoogether animatronic in Zootopia 2.
Clawhauser Wearing Zoogether Day Outfit in Zootopia 2
Zootopia 2 director Jared Bush revealed during a media event for the new 3D show that the filmmakers liked Clawhauser’s animatronic costume so much they decided to put it in the film. He’ll appear in his purple “Gazelle” shirt and glow necklaces during the Zootopia 2 credits.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether is the new Tree of Life show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Currently in previews, it officially opens on November 7. Officer Clawhauser appears as an audio-animatronic figure in the show, which you can watch below.
In addition to Clawhauser appearing in his Better Zoogether outfit, Zootopia 2 will also feature a location directly inspired by Shanghai Disneyland’s Zootopia Land.
Zootopia 2 will open in U.S. theaters on November 26, 2025. It’s directed by Bush and Byron Howard from a screenplay by Bush, who co-wrote the first film with Phil Johnston. Howard co-directed the original with Rich Moore. The returning cast includes Nate Torrence as Clawhauser, alongside Ginnifer Goodwin as Judy Hopps and Jason Bateman as Nick Wilde.
