The Cinderella’s Dream Castle-inspired gingerbread display is now installed at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. With it comes an array of prepackaged snacks, specialty drinks, and merchandise to purchase this holiday season.
2025 Gingerbread Display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Gingerbread Display
This year’s gingerbread display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is Cinderella Castle decked out with the retired Dream Lights.
Behind the castle is a backdrop in shades of blue and white depicting a sparkling night sky, complete with a full moon overhead and shooting stars. This is the 14th year that the Contemporary Resort has hosted a gingerbread display.
Lining the platform of the “stage” are hidden mickeys with golden stars. Each star has a set of initials, which are likely those of Cast Members on the creative and culinary teams behind the gingerbread castle.
The display, which is 17 feet tall and 25 feet wide and took 30 days to assemble, is made of:
- 613 pounds of sugar
- 1013 pounds of flour
- 440 jars of honey
- 13 gallons of milk
- 60 pounds of fondant
- 43 pounds of royal icing
- 513 eggs
- 113 pounds of gingerbread spice
- 95 pounds of chocolate
- 1,200+ gingerbread bricks
- 14 hidden Mickeys (one for each year it has been displayed)
- 1 hidden 5-legged goat
- 14 sprinklings of magical pixie dust
Food
A snack kiosk is set up with themed food and drinks.
Gluten/Wheat-Friendly Gingerbread Mickey Cookie – $11.79
This Mickey-shaped cookie is gingerbread flavored with the top half dipped in chocolate.
House-Made Christmas Tree Butter Cake – $5.99
Grab a tree-shaped butter cookie trimmed with icing and sprink.es
Gingersnap Cookie – $5.79
A classic gingersnap cookie is available.
Peppermint Bark – $14.99
Pre-packaged pieces of peppermint bark are tied with red ribbon.
Holiday Chocolate Bar – $8.99
The holiday chocolate bars are displayed in a wooden crate.
Linzer Cookie – $6.79
The Mickey-shaped linzer cookie is available to purchase.
Santa Mickey Éclair – $7.29
The eclair has a chocolate piece of Santa Mickey.
Pistachio Cranberry and Cherry Cake – $7.79
The pistachio is covered in a green layer adorned with Christmas lights.
Chocolate Hazelnut Log – $7.79
The chocolate hazelnut log has green icing and a red bow.
Beverages
Frozen Hot Cocoa – $6.29 non-alcoholic
Classic Frozen Hot Cocoa by Joffrey’s Coffee topped with Whipped Cream, Crushed Peppermint, and a White Chocolate Candy Cane
This is also available for $12.79 with Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur, $11.79 with Peppermint Schnapps Liqueur, or $11.79 with Amaretto Liqueur.
Gingerbread Martini – $18.50
Grab a classic gingerbread martini to pair with a treat.
Contemporary Resort Gingerbread Merchandise
Mug – $19.99
The gingerbread mug features a version of a Disney Park’s castle alongside icons for all of the other resorts featured in the Gingerbread Holiday Collection for 2025.
Among the resorts represented is the Contemporary Resort, Disneyland Hotel, the Grand Californian, Aulani, and several other Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
Ornament – $24.99
The Contemporary Resort ornament is similar to the pin below but with enlarged features. The ornament is glittery with candy and gumdrop details creating the facade of the resort.
Contemporary Pin – $22.99
The Contemporary Resort pin is scented and shaped like the main tower. Gingerbread versions of Mickey and Minnie stand surrounding the resort’s sign.
Gingerbread Collection Pin – $22.99
There is also a castle pin with icons for all of the included Gingerbread Holiday Collection locations, including EPCOT.
Other gingerbread displays will include displays at BoardWalk Inn, Beach Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Wilderness Lodge.
