Christmas decorations have arrived at Universal Orlando Resort, as the holiday season officially kicks off November 21 and runs through the very beginning of January.
Décor
Park Entrance

The large archway into the park has garland hanging from the inside of the arch. It has red and gold ornaments throughout the garland.


The smaller archways also have the same décor – garland with ornaments.
Universal Studios Florida Christmas Tree

The massive Christmas tree has arrived in the park as well. The tree is dotted with colorful ornament balls of various colors and sizes. It also has red garland and stars.


The circular base is red with a lattice pattern. There is a gold background with a snowflake pattern. The star on top is also red and gold, matching the base pattern.


At random intervals, Earl the Squirrel pops out of the lower section of the tree. He’s wearing his buffalo plaid hat and holding a blue light bulb.

At night, the tree lights up in green and red with glowing white stars.
Decorations in New York

Lamps in New York were given festive decorations this year.


Santa hats rest on top of the lamps, and red bows are tied below them. Garland with red holly wraps around the neck to the base.

Garland lines the façade of many structures and buildings in New York.

Decorations continue inside The Tonight Shop. There are a few Christmas trees on display.

The R.H. Macy & Co. building features garland across the pillars and over the clock above the entrance.

The awning over the entry doors is topped with small Christmas trees and bordered by garland.

Blue ribbons and garlands line the locker entrance for Revenge of the Mummy. Snowflakes hang from the archway and pink snowflakes line the garland bordering the arch.


Sahara Traders also has two rows of garland swooping from the buildings.

More facades are lined with garland.

Garland is placed around signs and on railings of the buildings.

Many of the structures also have wreaths, bows, and other greenery. In the photo above, you can see the garland adorning the arched windows and the hanging snowflakes.

The Blues Brothers stage is adorned with silver and blue tinsel, as well as garland with pink, white, and blue ornaments.


The décor in New York could best be described as Classic Christmas.

Garland and red stars hang from the top of the building pictured above.

Empire Hotel has garland in the window arches, as well as wreaths on the windows.
Holiday Decorations in Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley


Guests visiting Diagon Alley will also find it’s decorated for the holidays.

King’s Cross Station has garland and wreaths with classic soft lights.

Three Christmas trees line one side of the building.


The library and record shop both have décor, including garland and wreaths.


Outside the entrance to Diagon Alley, by the Knight Bus, are fences lined with garland and lampposts with wreaths.

The façade of British flats have garland on some fences, but otherwise, it looks a bit plain.


Another façade has garland across the awning over three entry doors and two wreathes bookending them. There are also Christmas trees on the balconies.

Decorations in Diagon Alley begin right away with a wreath at the magical brick wall entrance. Garland also hangs above the entrance to Leaky Cauldron.

Leaky Cauldron has garland full of berries, pinecones, and twigs along the interior wood banisters.


More garland hangs from the walls next to the archways and the giant fireplace.

Garland, wreathes, and other ornamentations decorate each of the shops in the narrow alley.

Decorations are on the entrance to The Daily Prophet as well.


Pink ribboned garland decorates Madam Malkin’s clothing store. The same garland design carries over inside the store.

Branches run through the garland and wreath across the façade to Ollivanders.

Inside, guests will see more green garland from the second story banister as they peruse the collection of wands.

Garland made from white feathers and pinecones line the top of Eeylops Owl Emporium and a matching wreath rests on the entrance door. The decorations continue inside the menagerie with garland covered in pinecones and holly.

Garland with yellow holly runs across The Fountain of Fair Fortune.


Inside, more fluffy greenery in the shape of garland and a wreath can be found as well.

A dead branch wreath hangs over the entrance to Borgin and Burkes.

Garland runs across each level of Gringott’s Bank.


Garland runs over each window of Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour.



Magical Menagerie has garland covered in pinecones and holly.

Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes is a joke shop run by Fred and George Weasley. The tops of the orange window frames are lined with garlands full of small rockets.

This colorful shop’s interior also has garland above the window sill.

More fluffy lit-up garland is pictured above.

The Pumpkin Juice mural is lined with garland. There’s also a strip of garland above the door below. Golden jingle bells are tucked among the foliage.

The starry blue Wiseacre’s façade is adorned with several garlands. True to the store’s theming, the garlands are decorated with golden ornaments, including stars, and shiny ribbons.

This part of Diagon Alley has garland on the arches.


There are also wreaths and other greenery set up behind the stage.


Eternelle’s kiosk is lined with garlands of berries.

Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop is lined by garland full of pastel candy-like ornaments.


The Blacksmith shop has rustic looking décor, with garland lining the front of the façade, around the window, and along the top of the sign.
Decorations in Men in Black

Not many decorations have been added to this area except for a few trees in the MIB Gear Shop.


A few Christmas trees with neon green ornaments are in the windows.


Snack Attack has holiday-themed Coca-Cola art.
Decorations in Hollywood

Moving to Hollywood, the area has garland and other décor on building facades, as well as Santa hats on the lampposts lining the street.

Pillars are decorated with green and red wraps.

Classic green garland and Christmas trees have silver and blue ornaments and other accents.

Purple and silver tinsel are wrapped around the entrance awning supports.

Garland around the hat brim has pink, purple, silver, and blue ornaments along with floral accents.


Blue bows decorate the lamps at the entrance to The Bourne Stuntacular, as well as at the very top of the building.

Nearby lampposts have Santa hats, and wreaths and more garland adorn the fronts of building structures.


Garland with red and gold ornament balls line the facade for The Beverly.

Similar garland runs down the columns of Max Factor Make-Up Studio.

A large wreath and garland decorate the Five & Dime facade.


Large red bows, a red ornament wreath, and garland decorate Ralph’s.


Garland wraps around the arched windows of Montmartre.

Wreaths with ornaments are placed on the windows of Mel’s Drive-In.

Take one last look at Hollywood decorated for the holidays.
Decorations at the Universal Studios Store

The Studio Store is decorated with windows featuring different characters in holiday settings.

The first window features The Grinch holding a red heart.

Hello Kitty characters sit in front of a fireplace and Christmas tree as presents surround them.

Another window features the Universal Holiday Parade. Santa is front and center with his hands outstretched.

This window features the Minions knitting a scarf.

Inside the store, garland hangs from the ceilings.

Christmas trees with ornaments in a variety of colors are also placed throughout the store.
Tribute Store Display Windows

The Tribute Store has display windows as well, including the Grinch.


Another features Earl the Squirrel, while another has Bob’s Teddy Bear from Minions.
