Christmas Decorations Arrive at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

Disney has decorated Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground for the holiday season. Beyond these decorations, guests can also decorate their campsites, leading to some fun and unique displays.

Fort Wilderness Christmas Decorations

Decorations begin with the resort’s sign, where bunches of garland adorn the stone columns. They feature stars, red flowers, and reindeer cutouts.

The bus stop at the front of the resort has garland hanging under the roof. Instead of wreaths, red wheels are between each section of garland. These are adorned with silver stars, boots, horseshoes, bows, and flowers.

Garland trims the rooftops of the campgrounds’ bus stops.

There are decorations on the Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center sign, as well as hanging on the model cabin.

Pioneer Hall

Pioneer Hall, home of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, is decked out with garlands and wreaths across its railings. These are filled with shiny baubles, poinsettias, ribbons, and wood acorn-shaped decorations.

The garland on a nearby DVC kiosk has sunflowers and pieces of rope.

There’s garland on Trail’s End Restaurant, too. It connects to a big wreath above the entrance door, with a horseshoe and star in its center. Ropes are draped over the garland and there are bell decorations.

Between Pioneer Hall and Settlement Trading Post is a Christmas tree. It’s topped with a silver star and features ranch-inspired décor.

Garland is wrapped around the supports of the Settlement Trading Post sign. More garland hangs from the roof.

Horse-Drawn Carriage

We spotted one of the resort’s horse-drawn carriages with garland around its bench seats and red bows on the ends.

Tri-Circle-D Ranch

Wreaths with horse ribbons and stars greeted us at Tri-Circle-D Ranch.

The pathway is lined with baskets of poinsettias, gift boxes, and other holiday props.

At the entrance to the barn are more baskets of poinsettias and other appropriate foliage. A wreath hangs on each door.

A carriage parked in the doorway has Christmas trees in its bed.

A pair of nutcrackers greet guests as they enter.

The decorations continue inside with some wreaths and garlands, including at this podium.
