Marvel star Brie Larson will be the voice of Rosalina in the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy Movie, while Benny Safdie is set to voice Bowser Jr.

In an Instagram post by @igndotcom, Marvel star Brie Larson will voice Rosalina in the sequel to “The Super Mario Bros. Movie”.

Brie Larson is widely known for playing the superhero Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She debuted in Avengers: Endgame and has also appeared in the films Captain Marvel and The Marvels. She has also starred in films like Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Kong: Skull Island, and the Apple TV+ series Lessons in Chemistry.

Super Mario Bro. Movie Sequel

The sequel to “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” is set to release on April 3, 2026. The first film’s directors, Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, and writer Matthew Fogel, are all returning.

The original cast featured Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike, and Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek. Yoshi is expected to be introduced in the sequel.
