After two days of rain delays, A Christmas Fantasy finally had its first performance of the 2025 holiday season at Disneyland. Now in its 30th year, the parade features various Disney characters, floats, and Santa Claus.
2025 A Christmas Fantasy Parade
The parade begins with a float featuring a ballerina dancer. She’s atop a pile of books with a teddy bear and a giant wreath. “A Christmas Fantasy” is on a ribbon around the wreath.
The opening float is followed by a troupe of toy soldiers playing instruments and dancing elves delivering letters to Santa, along with Mrs. Claus.
The next float resembles a wooden structure with a mailbox for “The Claus’.” Mickey and Minnie, in their green and red holiday sweater outfits, are at the front of the mailroom float with a Christmas tree and presents. Donald sits above them on a snowy roof beam
At the back of the float, Chip and Dale are sorting Santa’s mail into “Naughty” and Nice” piles. They wear coordinating red and green plaid outfits with earmuffs.
Behind the mailroom are a group of four dancing snowmen followed by a Christmas tree covered in icy silver ornaments.
Following the tree are dancing snowflakes who perform their routine on Rollerblades. Fittingly, they precede the Frozen float.
Anna and Olaf are at the front of the float, while Elsa stands on an elevated platform at the back.
Next up are the dancing bakers, who arrive with a recipe book float, Clarabelle Cow, and a pair of gingerbread men. The gingerbread cookie dancers are returning to the parade after being absent for two years.
Behind the “Recipe for Gingerbread Treats” book float is another of a gingerbread house. Goofy is in the doorway wearing chef’s whites, while Pluto, wearing an apron, sits on the roof waving to the crowd.
Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella precede the Princesses, flouncing along the route. The giant book float behind them features an invitation to The Candlelight Christmas Ball (but they aren’t on the list).
Snow White and Prince Charming are dancing behind the book float, accompanied by ballroom dancers in white and gold ensembles.
Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen are on the front of the ballroom float, which is festooned with rich garland. Standing on the dais are Aurora with Prince Phillip and Cinderella with Prince Charming.
Belle and the Beast follow the float on the ground, along with more dancers.
Buzz Lightyear kicks off the toy section riding atop his toy block float.
Behind Buzz, a Green Army Man drives a red vehicle decorated with garland. Jessie waves from the backseat. Toy factory elf dancers follow behind.
The second toy block float features Woody riding a rocking horse.
Dancers in green velvet coats lead another Christmas tree float. This tree features red, green, and gold baubles and red velvet drapes.
Finally, it’s time for the Jolly Old Elf himself. He’s preceded by his dancing reindeer, wearing red bows and jingle bells.
Santa Claus rides above the crowd on his iconic red sleigh laden with an overflowing sack of toys. A signpost welcomes us to the North Pole.
The back of Santa’s float features his toy factory with enthusiastic elves cheering and waving.
Santa is in his sleigh flying over Christmas trees at the North Pole.
“A Christmas Fantasy Parade” will be performed at 3pm and 5:15pm through January 7, 2026.
