Disney announced details for Cast Member previews of Zootopia: Better Zoogether! at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether Cast Member Previews
Cast Members can experience the new show on select dates from October 31 through November 3, 2025. They can begin registering for previews on October 14 at 7 a.m. EST. Registration closes four days before each scheduled preview date.
Cast Members can bring up to three guests to previews. They can only register for one preview experience with guests. Theme park reservations are not required.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Details
Zootopia: Better Zoogether! replaces It’s Tough To Be A Bug as the Tree of Life Theater show. The theater’s entrance marquee was installed but not yet revealed. Disney shared a first look at the Officer Clawhauser animatronic inside the theater.
Like It’s Tough To Be A Bug, the Zootopia show will be 3D. Guests will don “Carrot Vision” glasses to join the Zoogether Day celebration hosted by new character Heidi Howler. Other Zootopia and Zootopia 2 characters will appear, including Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps.
A new Judy and Nick meet and greet will also open on Discovery Island at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The show and meet and greet open to all guests on November 7, 2025.
Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members will also have preview opportunities.
Zootopia 2
The opening of Zootopia: Better Zoogether! is just a few weeks ahead of the release of Zootopia 2 on November 26. In the sequel, Nick and Judy go undercover to solve a case involving a mysterious reptile, testing their partnership in the process. Zootopia 2 is directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, who were both involved in the original film. Yvette Merino produces.
Returning cast members include Ginnifer Goodwin as Judy, Jason Bateman as Nick, Idris Elba as Chief Bogo, Shakira as Gazelle, Maurice LaMarche as Mr. Big, and Raymond S. Persi as Flash the Sloth.
New to the cast are Ke Huy Quan as Gary De’Snake, Fortune Feimster as Nibbles, Quinta Brunson as Dr. Fuzzby, Patrick Warburton as Mayor Winddancer, Andy Samberg as Pawbert Lynxley, Macaulay Culkin as Cattrick Lynxley, Brenda Song as Kitty Lynxley, David Strathairn as Milton Lynxley, and Danny Trejo as Jesús.
The late Tommy “Tiny” Lister Jr.’s voice will return as Finnick thanks to recordings from Zootopia.
The film took inspiration from Zootopia Land in Shanghai Disneyland, which opened in 2023.
