A new ink pen, featuring the Hollywood Tower Hotel, has dropped into Hollywood Studios. The long pen has a funky retro vibe.

The Hollywood Tower Hotel writing pen is orange with an ornately shaped topper. The topper has a teal background and an orange, pink, and purple image of the hotel illustrated in a cartoon style. There are yellow and green accents behind the hotel.

The pen body is translucent orange and printed with white Hollywood Studios graphics and lettering. The cap of the pen is orange as well.

We spotted the writing pen in Mickey’s of Hollywood Shop, which is located on Hollywood Boulevard. It’s on the left side of the street as you enter the park.

The Hollywood Tower Hotel is the hotel for The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

As the storyline for Tower of Terror goes, The Hollywood Tower Hotel was once a glamorous hotel in 1930s Hollywood. On Halloween night, October 31, 1939, a mysterious lightning storm struck the hotel and part of the hotel — including an elevator carrying guests — was transported to The Twilight Zone.

The attraction invites guests to drop into the abandoned elevator and experience the same eerie fate of free-falling. Currently, four Disney Parks have a version of this attraction: Hollywood Studios, California Adventure (themed to Guardians of the Galaxy), Tokyo Disney Sea (themed to a 1912 New York hotel), and Walt Disney Studios Park.
