Work continues on the modernized Cool Ship kiosk at Magic Kingdom, and we can now see where menus will be placed.
Work Continues

Construction crews are moving in necessary equipment for the new Cool Ship kiosk. Several boxes, equipment, and elements of the kiosk are inside the construction zone. While it looks far from complete, refurbishment tends to happen quickly once things progress.

Two new menu boards have also been placed on the exterior of the kiosk. It appears there will be two window stations to order food and beverages, and the large window in the center will be the pick-up station.

Pictured above is another angle of the work taking place at the kiosk. Temporary construction walls block off the entire area to guests, but work can still be viewed when riding the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.
Cool Ship

Cool Ship and Cool Scanner closed in May 2025 with no official announcement from Disney. The kiosk was demolished and a new one was installed. The Disney World website states it will reopen later this year. Pictured above is a photo of the old kiosk.
The replacement of Cool Ship is the latest in a series of updates to Tomorrowland. Classic styles that were once considered futuristic decades ago are now labeled as outdated. Sleeker, modernized elements are the theme of the new Tomorrowland.

Other updates include the opening of TRON in 2023 and the overhaul of Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. That refurbishment includes scene updates, technical improvements, ride vehicles, and more.
