Water Feature Returns to The Seas with Powerful Splash

Watch out, Journey of Water. The Seas is coming for your water features with the now-repaired splash surrounding the attractions sign.

For months, the water effect surrounding the sign and rocks at The Seas with Nemo & Friends has been turned off and inactive. During our recent visit to EPCOT, we noticed that the effect has returned and seems more powerful than ever. In fact, you might get splashed if you stand too close.

Three cartoon seagull statues perch on rocks by a Splash-themed sign amid lush plants at EPCOT, with no castles in view.

While this change is an improvement, the seagulls are still not moving in unison with the “mine” audio track that plays around the entrance.

SeaBase Aquarium

Entrance to Seabase Aquarium at EPCOT features a colorful new aquarium sign under blue skies, as four people walk nearby.

Nearby, The Seas With Nemo & Friends recently debuted a new SeaBase Aquarium entrance sign. The sign itself is blue, with a subtle wave pattern in green and purple. Green and red fish swim on either side of large white text saying “SeaBase Aquarium.”

Inside, a friendly face is missing since Mermaid the manatee has been released back into the wild. Guests can still view Tani and Cider swimming around their tank from the first or second level of SeaBase Aquarium in The Seas. Earlier this year, the diver lock-out chamber demonstration returned, as well.
