Walt Disney Imagineering cast members are currently onboard the Disney Destiny putting the final touches on the ship as she makes her transatlantic crossing to Florida, and they’re documenting their days in a series of “Crossing Diaries” on their Instagram Stories.

Today, they shared three Stories unwrapping framed artwork hanging in a corridor near Hook’s Barbery on Deck 4. The first Story shows two Imagineerings removing bubble wrap from around a framed piece, with the caption “Bubble wrap is coming off!” The painting is revealed to be a still life of the Evil Queen’s spellbooks and potions, with a black raven and the poison apple also featured.

The second story entices with the caption “Name something more satisfying” over a close-up of hands removing masking tape and bubble wrap from a dark wood frame. As the camera pulls back, we see another fantastical still life, this one of Captain Hook’s pirate accoutrement, including his hook, a map, and a spyglass.

Two guests pose, pointing at colorful art beneath a Disney Destiny ship’s log sign, reminiscent of Disney park wall displays.

The final slide is a still shot of the two Imagineers posing with their hanging handiwork under the caption “Ta-da! Remember this art from the Ship’s Log?!” and a link button to the Disney Destiny Ship’s Log.

The Ship’s Log entry they’re referencing is the May 19, 2025 Artist Spotlight on Hannah Loflin, in which we see her working on the three paintings featured in the Stories.

Three Disney park-inspired scenes: a jewel box, royal crowns with coins like in Fantasyland, and a magical potions desk.

The previewed trio included the Captain Hook and Evil Queen art, as well as a third image themed to Prince John from Robin Hood.

Disney Destiny Cruise Ship

The Disney Destiny cruise ship docked by the “JOSELMEYER PAPENBURG” shipyard, river nearby. No castle like at Disney parks.

The Disney Destiny is the seventh ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet and the third in the Wish class, joining her sister ships the Disney Wish and the Disney Treasure. After sea trials in September 2025, the Disney Destiny was officially delivered to Disney Cruise Line on October 15 and set off on her transatlantic crossing to Florida on October 20.

Three Disney Destiny crew members pose with Minnie Mouse in a superhero costume, no castle like Disney Parks’ famous iconic castles visible.

The Heroes & Villains-themed ship will set off on its maiden voyage from Port Everglades on November 20.
