Sweet Meets Savory with the Waffle Cone Chicken Strips at Disney World

With 13 new chicken strips to try at Walt Disney World, one was bound to surprise us — these are the Waffle Cone Chicken Strips!

Waffle Cone Chicken Strips – $12.99

Served with choice of chips or French fries.

These are essentially a chicken-strip take on the classic chicken and waffles, with crushed waffle cones and a maple syrup glaze, served in a waffle cone bowl.

When the maple sweetness kicked in alongside the savory chicken and breading, we were reminded of orange chicken. Like the other chicken strips we’ve had today, the tenders were nicely fried with hot, juicy chicken inside.

Overall, it’s the same culinary concept as Epcot’s infamous Pickle Milkshake: sounds weird, kind of tastes weird, but you just want to eat more because your brain can’t process what you’re eating.
