The Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar Evil Queen mug has arrived at Disneyland Resort, and with it a release party fit for royalty.

Trader Sam’s Evil Queen Mug Release Party

A spooky witch figurine faces a jeweled mirror, echoing the chilling style of the Evil Queen Mug at Disneyland Hotel.

The Evil Queen mug was announced on September 22 and became available to mobile order this morning, October 1, for pickup times ranging from 4pm to 9pm. The mug release party took place in the Disneyland Hotel Grand Ballroom, a contrast to previous mug release events which took place outdoors on the South Lawn.

After October 1, the mug will become available at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar while supplies last.

People mingle and explore tables in a large, colorful ballroom with Trader Sam's-inspired green and blue lighting.

Rather than just grabbing your mug and leaving, Disneyland had a fun event where guests could relax inside and enjoy some villainous vibes.

The Grand Ballroom was decorated using appropriately sinister lighting and a stage setup of stained glass windows. There was also a bar area.

Evil Queen Meet and Greet

Guest picking up their mugs were greeted by none other than the Evil Queen herself.

She was serving and slaying for photos in front of a large Magic Mirror backdrop between two large candelabras.

Artist Signing

Off on one side of the room was a themed table set up for guests who wanted to wait and meet the artist who designed this Evil Queen mug,  Florian Bertmer. The table was modeled like a medieval throne room, with Bertmer sitting in a tall red chair in front of a castle window backdrop.

The table was decorated with books for “Spells and Potions” as well as titled “Once Upon A Time.” There was also a skull, cauldron, and potion bottles filling the space.

People browse framed art and prints in a colorful room at Trader Sam's, glowing with yellow and blue lighting.

Nearby was a selection of Evil Queen-themed art for guests to purchase. Not all of the pieces were created by Bertmer.

Here’s a view of the Evil Queen mug and its box in better lighting.

The box is grayscale and depicts the Evil Queen’s dungeon lair and its shelves of potion and poison components.

One side features Diablo the raven perched on a skull. The other has a bubbling cauldron, out of which the words “Disney Artist Showcase Featuring F. Bertmer” emerge.

The dual-sided mug is made of gray ceramic with painted color accents. On the Witch side, her tooth and eyes, as well as the skull-shaped poison dripping down the apple are all white, while the apple is red with a green stem.

A decorative Evil Queen Mug with a gold-framed image and red gem sits on a white table outdoors.

On the Evil Queen side, her heart necklace is red while she glowers from within a gold frame.

Both sides also feature sculpted bottles, smoking candles, and an hourglass filling in the space between each image.
