Spaceship Earth Entrance Repainted Ahead of Reopening

The entrance to Spaceship Earth at EPCOT has been repainted as part of a regular refurbishment.

Crews repainted the blue walls framing the entryway for Spaceship Earth. The design hasn’t changed, but the paint looks brighter than before. The light-colored segments also appear to be even lighter than they were previously.

The light-colored segments were previously more of a blue color, but they are now closer to gray or white. Compare the new look to our picture of Spaceship Earth from immediately after it closed below.

Spaceship Earth has been closed for refurbishment since late August. Before work inside began, exterior paneling along the back of the attraction was replaced. Spaceship Earth will reopen on October 25.
