Disney has announced that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will close for refurbishment next month, and the attraction will be converted to 2D.

The attraction will close for refurbishment from November 10 – 13, 2025 and will return with enchanted digital visuals and clearer imagery projected in 2D.

The Disney World website also states that Remy’s fans will spot new props and lighting enhancements when they are added to the queue and attraction over the next few months.

The Disneyland Paris version of the ride is also receiving similar upgrades, including an enhanced queue with a new scene, as well as new props and enhanced projections on the ride itself. Modernizing the ride’s technical equipment, including the change from 3D to 2D, is also on the list of improvements.

In Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, guests shrink down to the size of a rat and join Chef Remy on a daring culinary adventure. Guests will need to wear 3D glasses for what Disney refers to as a 4D experience. With the 2D upgrade, the glasses will no longer be necessary.

The ride is part of the France pavilion expansion that opened in 2021.
