Orlando International Airport Experiencing 2-Hour-Plus Ground Delays

According to the Federal Aviation Administration’s status page, Orlando International Airport (MCO) is currently experiencing significant ground delays expected to continue into tomorrow morning.

Ground Delays at MCO Due to Staffing Shortage

On the FAA National Airspace System Status Page, MCO is showing an average ground delay of 161 minutes. The delays are expected to last until around 3am ET Friday.

The delays are caused by staffing shortages due to the ongoing government shutdown, which reached its 30th day today.
