Mickey’s PhilharMagic Closing for Refurbishment at Disney World

Mickey’s PhilharMagic will close for 3-week refurbishment in November at Magic Kingdom.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is closing for a 3-week refurbishment in November. The last day of operation is October 31, but the Disney World website does have hours listed for the attraction beginning November 23. This is the start of the busy Thanksgiving week.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic will be temporarily closed beginning November 1 for routine refurbishment and is expected to reopen later this month.

Disney has not announced what the refurbishment entails.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic at Magic Kingdom

Mickey’s PhilHarmagic is a 4-D film that tells the story of the mayhem caused by Donald Duck taking over an orchestra. The show is set to classic Disney songs that match the scene currently taking place.

Guests are provided with 3-D “opera glasses” which allow instruments to fly into your lap and objects come speeding towards you. Other fun surprises include delicious smells and water effects.

Scenes include movies such as: Coco, Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Lion King, and Aladdin. See the recent Coco addition below:
