Shortly after our reporter noticed construction walls outside of Wicked: The Experience at Universal Studios Florida, Universal announced that the Mega Movie Parade will be on hiatus due to ongoing construction.

This relates directly to the construction walls our reporter noticed outside Wicked: The Experience. While the walls don’t block access to any stores, they extend into the street directly in the path of the parade route.

The walls are all painted a standard blue color and extend across a large section of the street.

The walls are in front of The Brown Derby Hat Shop and extend down the Walk of Fame.

The side of Wicked: The Experience is visible over the walls and still has the original Wicked: Part One posters with no updates.

There is no indication as to what the construction is for, just that it will be completed in late October and that the Mega Movie Parade will resume performances after the walls have been removed.
Mega Movie Parade

The Universal Mega Movie Parade debuted in 2024 and features floats inspired by Ghostbusters, Jaws, Jurassic Park, and more interspersed with live performers.
