During the Marvel Animation and Marvel Television panel at New York Comic Con 2025, it was confirmed that Marvel is planning at least one more television series intended for Disney+. The new series, VisionQuest, is expected to start streaming sometime in 2026.

VisionQuest is described as the “final installment in the trilogy that started with WandaVision and continued in last year’s Agatha All Along” as per the release on the Marvel official website.

Fans who attended the convention in person were surprised by the appearance of Paul Bettany, known for playing Vision in multiple Marvel films. Fans reportedly also viewed some sneak peek footage of the show, though this has yet to be officially shared online.

Vision, a character with red skin holds White Vision in a headlock, both wearing similar armor.

As previously rumored, the series is set to follow the journey of White Vision, who was last seen in WandaVision.

The names of several additional cast members for VisionQuest were confirmed as well. The cast is set to include Henry Lewis as D.U.M.-E, Jonathan Sayer as U, James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., and Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H. Ruaridh Mollica has been identified in the Comic-Con clip as Thomas Shepherd.

Finally, James Spader will be returning as Ultron, reprising his role from Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015.

Bettany revealed a little more about the background for the series,

What’s different about Vision right now is that Red Vision gave Vision all of his memories, including the memories from within the Hex. But White Vision is having real difficulty connecting to them. So he has the memories, but he doesn’t have the emotions and the feelings, and I think that’s what the journey is. White Vision’s journey during the show is about his attempt to connect to those memories and who he was… but with lasers!

Brad Winderbaum, the Head of Marvel Television, also added,

The less we say, the better.

But what I will say about Terry’s vision for the show is that he knows the lore. So if you’ve been following the MCU all these years, you’re going to be very, very, very rewarded.
