Magic Kingdom’s daytime Festival of Fantasy Parade is not scheduled to perform on two dates next month. These could be potential filming dates for the annual Disney ABC holiday special featuring Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime parade.
Festival of Fantasy Parade

Magic Kingdom has a daytime parade called the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, which features themed floats, characters, and performers. Guests can catch it once or twice a day depending on the schedule.
The Disney World website shows that there are no performances scheduled for November 8 and 9, 2025, despite Festival of Fantasy having a regular schedule for the rest of the week. These may be potential filming dates for The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration, the annual ABC Disney Parks holiday special that airs on Christmas Day.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

Instead of the Festival of Fantasy parade, daytime guests may be able to catch the filming of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime parade, which usually only occurs during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The parade is filmed in advance, usually in early to mid-November, for the holiday special so it can be seen during the daylight instead of at night.
These dates are nearly identical to the filming dates for 2024, which had Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime parade running during the day on November 9 & 10.
Additional details for this year’s Christmas special have not been revealed yet.
