Jungle Cruise Debuts New Prop and Joke at Magic Kingdom

Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom has a brand-new prop and joke to go along with it.

First Sign of Danger on Jungle Cruise

Guests might now hear their skipper point to the “first sign of danger” as they hop aboard the Jungle Cruise boat. The sign? A literal sign reading “Danger!” attached to a floating mine in the water next to the queue.

A floating naval mine with spikes sits in greenish water near a dock at a Disney park, surrounded by rope and themed greenery.

The Skipper then tells the joke, “Oh, look! It’s the first sign of danger.”

The prop and joke debuted just ahead of the holiday season when Jungle Cruise becomes Jingle Cruise. The seasonal overlay officially returns on November 3, 2025.
