With upcoming permanent and temporary restaurant closures, menu items at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will move locations.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Menu Updates
Harambe Market in Africa is closing temporarily until early 2026. When it reopens, it will offer typical American fare like hamburgers and chicken strips as a replacement for Restaurantosaurus, which closes permanently in February 2026.
Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery in Africa will change its operations to remain open for lunch with old Harambe Market menu items, including the Harambe Chicken Rice Bowl, plant-based Picadillo Rice Bowl, and Harissa Chicken Wrap. The coffee shop is usually only open until 11 a.m.
Trilo-Bites in DinoLand U.S.A. will permanently close this month but guests will still be able to get the stand’s popular Buffalo Chicken Chips and DOLE Whip floats at other venues.
Buffalo Chicken Chips will move to Eight Spoon Cafe on Discovery Island. A variety of flavored DOLE Whip floats will be available at Warung Outpost in Asia.
Dino Bite Snacks, which serves ice cream treats, will also close permanently this month. Hand-scooped ice cream will not return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom until February. In the meantime, guests can get a variety of soft-serve ice cream, floats, and sundaes from Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Africa and Anandapur Ice Cream Truck in Asia.
Trilo-Bites, Dino Bite Snacks, and Harambe Market will all be closed starting on October 20, 2025.
