Walt Disney World has released a huge wave of new food items today, and you have to grab dessert after your sauced chicken tenders and cold brew. Here’s our review of the hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with sprinkles, found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Hand-Dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with Sprinkles – $7.79

Part of the lineup of seven new hand-dipped Mickey Bars announced yesterday is the Mickey Bar with sprinkles.

This sprinkle-covered treat is available at two locations in Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Ice Cold Hydraulics and Dinosaur Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction.

The only different between the two locations’ dipped Mickey Bars is the color of the sprinkles: Ice Cold Hydraulics has yellow sprinkles, while Dinosaur Gertie’s has white.

This is a regular Mickey Bar with an additional red-colored confectionery coating dip around the ears. There’s an artificial cherry flavor on each of these (probably from the red dip) that is somewhat medicinal and off-putting. The ice cream bar was served cold enough to survive a walk from Grand Avenue to Gertie without losing too much structure.
The sprinkles are fun, but aren’t the most interesting or unique of the hand-dipped toppings that were released today. Overall, this is good, but we wouldn’t run all the way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios just to grab it.
