UPDATE: As of 11:45 a.m., Main Street had fully reopened.
The Emporium side of Main Street, U.S.A. was evacuated late Tuesday morning for an unknown “minor emergency,” per Cast Members.
Emporium Evacuated

Alarms went off in the gift shops and dining venues shortly before 11:30 a.m. PT. Cast Members ushered guests outside. They then stood in front of entrances to keep guests from going back inside.

Guests dining at Carnation Cafe were forced to leave mid meal. It was raining in the park so guests weren’t dining outside, but many were taking refuge in the gift shops and remained crowded around the doors.

The Emporium, Carnation Cafe, Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen, and Penny Arcade were all affected and remained closed for about 15 minutes. Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor and Refreshment Corner had not yet opened for the day. Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe around the corner is still open and operational.
Because all of the buildings on one side of Main Street are connected, a fire alarm in one building means they all have to be evacuated. However, we don’t know for sure if the alarm was due to fire or smoke.
Jungle Cruise is also temporarily closed, which could be related or could be due to weather. The attraction and Main Street shops utilize the same backstage area.
There was a similar incident about a month ago. The Emporium and Candy Palace were closed for about 10 minutes. Carnation Cafe was closed for a longer time.
