People steal things at Disney World all the time. Clothes from the shops. Souvenirs.. More brazenly, cold hard cash.
But a new arrest report shows one person accused of taking something more unusual.
A 26-year-old Jacksonville woman was arrested and accused of stealing a radio from Disney Security at Disney Springs.

Adriana Portal has pleaded not guilty to robbery, battery on both a uniformed security officer, and a law enforcement officer, battery as well as criminal mischief, according to Orange Circuit Court records.
Her attorney declined to comment for this story.
On Aug. 24, Portal was “in a physical altercation with a Disney security manager” in the Disney Springs’ watermelon parking lot, according to the newly released Orange County Sheriff’s report.
“After further investigation and multiple interviews of victims, it was determined Adriana did knowingly take away a Disney Security Radio ($1500) from a Disney Security Manager with the intent to permanently or temporarily deprive him of the property,” the arrest report said.
It is unclear what happened before the confrontation in the parking lot and before Portal was accused of snatching the radio.
The sheriff’s office refused to release additional records in the case, citing the ongoing investigation. Her attorney did not answer questions.
The arrest report said she struck or intentionally touched both a sheriff’s deputy and a Disney investigator.
Quoted from the arrest report:
“It should be noted the victim on this specific charge failed to identify himself as Disney Security therefore Adriana is being charged with the simple battery,”
“Adriana did willfully and maliciously injure or damage or place graffiti .., or commit an act of vandalism to a Disney Security Radio, the property of Walt Disney World, causing damage in an amount of $1,000 dollars or greater.”
