Gideon’s Bakehouse offers popular Frankenstein-inspired treats during the month of October. We visited the Disney Springs location to try the Bride of Frankenstein cake, which is only available on Sundays and Thursdays.

Bride of Frankenstein Cake Slice – $11

This tasty snack features two layers of vanilla cake sandwiching a layer of chocolate cake, covered in Golden Oreo buttercream and reverse ganache drip.

The cake is light and fluffy but filled with flavor. The Golden Oreo buttercream is to die for. The ganache is wild, but it’s a nice spooky feature that doesn’t affect the flavor much.

The M&M’s offer a nice crunch, contrasting with the soft buttercream and cake.

This is a great complement to the Frankenstein cake, which is predominantly chocolate. This version is a bit more delicate and has more flavors.
