Toy Story Land Adding New Snack Kiosk, Now Under Construction

As seen in a new aerial image, Disney is in the process of building a new food kiosk in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

We first reported on October 1 that Disney had filed a construction permit listing the project as the addition of a new snack kiosk in Toy Story Land. There was no such kiosk present at the address listed on the permit, so it was assumed to be a new structure.

The planned kiosk is stated to be near the corner of the restrooms building, across from Alien Swirling Saucers, approximately where a Toy Story Land sign used to be. The sign was removed back in July.

There have been scrims and construction walls in this area for months.

Now, we have confirmation that the building of this new kiosk is underway. In new aerial photos from bioreconstruct, we have a look over the construction walls in Toy Story Land. The area with the sign used to be next to the box of Lass-O’s on the right side.

As we zoom closer, we can now see that the sign has been removed, with only the Tinker Toys still standing on either side. In its place is the base of what will likely be the new kiosk. The base is still only plain concrete and some wood framing, but we expect to see more progress in the coming weeks.

Currently there are only two restaurants present in Toy Story Land: the table-service Roundup Rodeo BBQ and quick-service Woody’s Lunch Box. The former was added later in 2023, while the rest of the land opened in 2018.
