Critter Co-Op, the gift shop located near Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, is currently receiving new flooring. The first section of new flooring has been revealed, and aditional areas have been blocked off as work continues.
Flooring Refurbishment

Back in September, temporary construction walls were installed in Critter Co-Op at Magic Kingdom. Previously, the flooring was made of stone and honey-colored vinyl plank that looks like hardwood flooring.

Now, the existing construction walls have moved, and new flooring has been revealed.

The stone flooring is still in place; however, the honey-colored vinyl plank has been replaced with a darker brown and gray vinyl plank near the entrance of the shop.

Walls still surround a large portion of the store, including the fireplace. Work may need to be completed on the fireplace as a result of the flooring change. The construction walls are only about four feet tall, so the store does not feel too cramped.

As a result of the refurbishment, one entrance remains blocked off, and merchandise has been moved to accommodate the closed area.
Critter Co-Op, which replaced Briar Patch, opened in 2024 with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It is located near the entrance of the attraction, while Tiana’s Bayou General store is located at the exit of the ride. Check out the shop’s detailed window displays and most recent merchandise releases.
