The Artisan Club at Cotino, the first Storyliving by Disney community, opens later this month and Disney shared a first look at the space.
Artisan Club

The first residents have already moved into Cotino and they can choose to join the voluntary Artisan Club. With a membership, residents get access to recreation and relaxation amenities located along the shores of Cotino Bay.

Disney Parks Blog stated Walt Disney Imagineers “combined their signature placemaking touches with the mid-century modern architectural styles of the Coachella Valley” when designing the Artisan Club. “From archival artwork by Disney legends and custom pieces by local artists to enriching environments that bring new stories to life, every detail has been thoughtfully curated.”

The club will offer members immersive storytelling dinners, creative art workshops, and more delivered by Disney Cast Members when it officially opens later this month.
Artisan Club Dining

The club has two signature dining spots: Architects’ Fork and Plot Twist. Architects Fork is a table-service restaurant that “takes members on a creative journey of architecture and design.” The walls are lined with artwork and technical concept designs from Disney history.

There are construction documents of famous attractions like “it’s a small world” and Big Thunder Mountain. Diners will see works by Mary Blair, a hand sketch of Sleeping Beauty Castle by Bruce Bushman, and a mockup of Disney’s Contemporary Resort by Ken Chapman. All the artwork was hand selected by Imagineers.
The menu features hand-crafted items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Outside of Architects Fork is Plot Twist, an outdoor beach bar offering a selection of beverages and snacks. Here, Artisan Club members can relax in comfy lounge seating while soaking up views of the sparkling Cotino Bay.

The bar will display book passages and sketches from historic tales that influenced Disney stories. On a backdrop along the bar are characters, icons, and more including Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Cinderella’s glass slipper.
Artisan Club Fitness

The Artisan Club will have a variety of ways for members to stay active, including strength training, Pilates, paddleboarding on Cotino Bay, pickleball, and tennis.

There will be themed sessions, programs, and classes such as the Moana Breathwork class, pictured above. Other programs include a Latin dance cardio class inspired by Encanto, a full-body “Super Circuit” workout based on The Incredibles, a Disney Villains power sculpt class, and a Stitch-inspired paddle board lesson.
Programming will be facilitated by health and wellness provider Optum.
