See Inside Disney’s Completed Parr House Inspired by Incredibles 2

Incredibles 2 comes to life inside Disney’s Cotino residential living community, and the Parr House replicates the film’s version.

Parr House Inspiration

Parr House was created by Disney Imagineering with Incredibles 2 serving as inspiration for the space’s architecture. It is modeled after the mid-century home the Incredibles family moves into at the beginning of the film. Parr House will be part of the community’s voluntary Artisan Club.

As seen in the comparisons above, both the exterior and interior look very similar to the film’s version of the house. Architectural elements include clean lines, open spaces, geometric forms, and large glass windows to let in natural light.

Parr House overlooks Cotino Bay, which is a massive body of water that guests will also be able to use for various watersports and other activities. Cotino Bay Beach will feature dining, shopping, and more when it opens in 2026.

Walt Disney Imagineering Executive Creative Director Caroline Boone tells Entertainment Weekly:

“Parr House is so much more than just a beautiful space — it’s a story you can step into. The house honors both the artistry of Pixar and the architectural legacy of Palm Springs. By infusing narrative into design, we’ve curated a truly unique experience that reflects the placemaking and attention to detail at the heart of Cotino, and the magic of Disney.

Hidden Details

Modern home office styled like Disney Parr House at the parks; wooden desk, abstract art above, small bench beneath the painting.

In addition to the overall structure, Disney revealed a few hidden Incredibles details that are also scattered throughout the space. The home’s art studio has a framed vinyl record on the left shelf called “Mr. Incredible Sings” that was featured in the first film.

Two colorful cereal boxes and a patterned orange cup on a shelf, with bold style reminiscent of Incredibles 2 decor at Disney parks.

In the kitchen, one shelf has a box of Fiber O’s and a box of Sugar Bombs, both of which are faux brands created for the films.

Also found in the kitchen is the Parr family bulletin board, which includes references to a track meet for Dash, a doctor appointment for Jack-Jack, plus a date night with Lucius and Honey. Designers specifically recreated both Bob and Helen’s handwriting by studying their penmanship from the films.

The second image shows a series of four framed magazine covers, which were inspired by “Auntie” Edna Mode. Lorenzo Salazar, Walt Disney Imagineering Senior Interior Designer, explained, “For Edna, we ended up with these really great magazine covers we thought she would have framed. Of course ones that featured her, wrote an article about her and painted her in a fantastic light.”

A math book titled "New Math for Life" sits on a shelf, styled like decor in the Parr House—Disney magic but no castle present.

This “New Math for Life” textbook is found in Dash’s room, inspired by his tutoring sessions with his dad.

Finally, Jack-Jack’s room has shelves with several toys, including the “Doozles are Dozing” book that has better odds of putting Bob to sleep.

Cotino StoryLiving Community

Cotino: A Storyliving by Disney Community is located in Rancho Mirage, California and will open in phases through 2026. Parr House is expected to open this fall with a restaurant, pool, pickleball and tennis courts, and waterfront bar and activity area. There will be meals inspired by Disney tales, lessons with Disney artists, and more.

In total, Cotino aims to accommodate around 1,900 residential units across a 618 acres. The purpose of Disney’s Storyliving Communities is to create experiential residential neighborhoods.

A second Storyliving by Disney Community, Asteria, will open in North Carolina.
