Spaceship Earth has been closed for refurbishment since late August, but a reopening date has been set for the attraction.

The Disney World website has operating hours for Spaceship Earth beginning on October 25, 2025. The ride has been closed since August 25 for refurbishment. Rolling planters have blocked the entrance to the queue, and exterior painting has taken place as well.
Spaceship Earth is a slow-moving journey through the history of human communication, from early cave paintings to the rise of the digital age. It was an opening day attraction and has gone through multiple major overhauls over the years. It was scheduled for another in 2020 to update some of the ride scenes, but that was put on hold, and possibly canceled.
