Disney Lorcana News: Villains Cards Revealed for Whispers in the Well

Whispers in the Well is the tenth expansion set for Disney Lorcana. Before it releases next month, the villains cards have been revealed.

Whispers in the Well

Mickey Mouse, Ariel, and another character explore a Disney Lorcana magical forest with glowing pages and purple waterfalls.

Whispers in the Well pre-releases in game stores on November 7, 2025, and will have a retail release on November 14. It will bring in characters from Gargoyles and The Black Cauldron.

The expansion also introduces Whispers, which is a brand-new classification of cards for the game. Whispers are a partially-formed variant of glimmers, which are special versions of Disney characters unique to Lorcana. They were summoned from a damaged lorebook page, and players will need to solve the mystery of their origin.

With Whispers, a new Boost mechanic allow for new strategic possibilities for players.

Villains Cards

The Whispers in the Well set includes cards featuring Disney villains, who will feel right at home in the dark depths of the shadowy Inkwell Caverns.

There are three Super Rare Villains Cards: Magica De Spell – Conniving Sorceress (from DuckTales), David Xanatos – Charismatic Leader (from Gargoyles), and Hans – Brazen Manipulator (from Frozen).

A roaring Shere Khan leaps through torn paper on a Disney Lorcana Villains card, reminiscent of fierce park iconography.

In addition to the super rare cards, there will also be one Legendary Villains Card: Shere Khan – Fearsome Tiger from The Jungle Book.
