The Walt Disney Company has extended the contract of Chief Communications Officer Kristina Schake through June, 2027.
Kristina Schake Contract Extended

Schake joined Disney in 2022 as Vice President of Global Communications. Her current titles are Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer. She’s the company’s lead spokesperson and oversees global communications strategy and operations, as well as corporate social responsibility.
According to Deadline, Schake’s employment agreement was extended to June 30, 2027. Her annual base salary was increased to $875,000 with “future increases at the Company’s discretion.” Her target annual bonus opportunity of 150% of her salary and target long-term equity incentive annual award value of 350% of her salary did not change.
For Disney’s 2024 fiscal year, Schake received $797,550, plus $2.86 million in stock awards, $953,004 in stock options, a $1.72 million cash bonus, and $95,515 in other compensation for a total pay package worth $6.43 million.
Before joining Disney, Schake had a long career in government, media, business, entertainment, and technology. She worked for President Biden, First Lady Michelle Obama, and Secretary Hillary Clinton, and was Global Communications Director for Instagram. She co-founded the American Foundation for Equal Rights.
