Coral Reef Adds Menu Sign Celebrating 1980s EPCOT Center

Coral Reef Restaurant has a new menu board located outside the building, which is designed to celebrate the 1980s EPCOT Center.

New Menu Board Sign

Coral Reef Restaurant is a seafood restaurant located in EPCOT’s World Nature. Guests can view a living coral reef and the 2,000+ sea creatures who call it home.

A new menu board has debuted at the entrance to the restaurant, and it’s designed to celebrate the EPCOT Center of the 1980s.

The “Coral Reef Restaurant” menu board features the same font as EPCOT Center when it opened in 1982. The menu board has curved lines and retro-style colors, along with the restaurant name at the top in white letters.

The menu is placed behind a glass window. Orange coral and a green fish are attached beneath the menu on the lower half of the board.

The new sign for Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT pops on a colorful blue and purple wall with lush plants below.

The new menu board joins the recently-installed orange Coral Reef Restaurant sign that has the same 1980s EPCOT Center text. See our review of Coral Reef.

Much of the signage by The Seas has been recently altered, including the addition of a new aquarium entrance sign above the nearby gift shop. Disney has also made several changes in the last few years to bring back the 1980s EPCOT Center motif of the park, which includes replacing signs, adjusting color palettes, and more.
