Walt Disney World has filed a pair of Notice of Commencement permits for construction at Storybook Circus in Magic Kingdom.

Document #20250613914 lists the address 1274 Magic Kingdom Dr., while #20250613917 is for 1272 Magic Kingdom Dr. These two addresses correspond to the Pete’s Silly Sideshow and Big Top Souvenirs tents, respectively.

Though the permits are for “general construction,” they both contract Birdair, Inc., which specializes in tensile structures like canopies and roofing. This may mean Disney is planning to replace the tent exteriors of the buildings. The canopy rooftops in particular are dirty and faded from the sun.

The permits expire December 31, 2026.

Disney recently replaced the banners outside Pete’s Silly Sideshow. However, there has been no official announcement of any refurbishments or closures in the Storybook Circus area yet.
