Christmas decor is starting to arrive at Animal Kingdom as Disney World gets ready to jump into the holiday spirit for 2025.
Christmas Decor

So far, Christmas decor has been installed outside the main gift shops in Discovery Island. At Island Mercantile, woodland animals are placed on the very top of the building. The overall theme of holiday decor at Animal Kingdom is animal-centered with organic materials.

Riverside Depot also has animals in the same material/style on two overhangs at the top of the structure. Those animals include deer, squirrels, foxes, owls, and birds.
A pair of owls snuggle close together on top of some greenery at the peak above an entrance to the shop.

Next door, Discovery Trading Company also has the same decor. Since these buildings interconnect with one another, it’s easy to see why Disney chooses to keep the decor cohesive throughout Discovery Island.

There are also some larger animals in other areas of Discovery Island as well. They are the same style and material as the smaller animals that sit on the buildings’ roofs. The birds fly overhead while others sit in the bushes.
Christmas decor will arrive at Magic Kingdom on November 2, although snoap machines have already been installed. There is also some decor installed at Hollywood Studios.
