Both attractions closed in July 2025 for enhancements, as well as the addition of a new Tangled scene that will be part of Storybook Land Canal Boats. Work has been ongoing for months, but we recently got our first glimpse of the new roof for one of Casey Jr. Circus Train’s structures.

The new roof looks almost exactly the same as the old one; it just looks fresher and brighter. The roof is gabled with red shingles and blue trim. There are also gold-tone metal details at the peak of the roof and along the sides.

A large beige sign in the middle of the structure has the attraction name in pink, red, and blue letters. The sign has red, pink, and gray stripes around the border. In the middle of the sign is the Casey Jr. train riding along the tracks as a pair of giraffes poke their heads through the top of one railcar. The train is made up of several colors, including orange, yellow, green, blue, red, and gray.

Construction walls are still installed around the rest of the attraction. A reopening date has not been announced.
