BREAKING: Ear Headbands, Select Merchandise Prices Increase at Disney World

Disney World has revealed several price increases, and ear headbands and other select merchandise have increased in price as well.

Price Increases

A $36.99 price tag sits above orange cartoon flower Disney World ear headbands, a playful park accessory seen across Disney parks.

This morning, we noticed ear headbands have increased in price from $34.99 to $36.99 in Main St. Cinema at Magic Kingdom. We expect this price increase to roll out across merchandise locations on property. It has already occurred online at Disney Store.

Rose gold sequin backpacks and metallic-bowed Ear Headbands line a wooden shelf in Disney World, home to Cinderella Castle.

Select Loungefly mini backpacks are also now priced at $100. Not all Loungefly items reflect this increase, so this may be a slower roll-out than the ear headbands. Or, only a few Loungefly mini backpacks may be affected by the price increase.

We also notice some items have not increased in price – including Spirit Jerseys, which are still $79.99. However, that is subject to change like all merchandise items currently for sale.

Several price increases have occurred today at Disney World, including Lightning Lane, tickets, parking, tours, and Enchanting Extras like Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop.

Today, Disney has also simplified packages for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and snack carts will now be cashless.

What do you think of all these price increases? Do you think a pair of Mickey ears is worth $36.99? Let us know in the comments and on social media.
