Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Cast Members at Magic Kingdom have new costumes, coinciding with an overhaul of the makeover experience’s packages and the introduction of a Fairy Godmother meet and greet.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Cast Member Costumes
These new Fairy Godmother-inspired costumes are similar to those worn by Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Cast Members on the Disney Wish. They include a white long-sleeve button-up, blue scoop neck vest, blue slacks, and a dark pink necktie bow — plus a brooch and nametag.
Above are pictures of the old costumes. They involved a purple, pink, or blue frock with contrasting trim over a purple skirt and light-colored shirt. Cast Members also wore headbands with veils. The same brooches were on the center chest of the frocks. There was also a pants option paired with a purple vest.
In 2022, Cast Members at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations also got a new gender neutral title: Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices instead of Fairy Godmothers in Training.
Disney simplified the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique package options and guests can now meet the Fairy Godmother as part of the experience at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Disneyland has not yet opened, so we have not been able to confirm if they also got new costumes.
