According to the Walt Disney World website for Meet Ariel at Walt Disney Presents, the Ariel meet and greet will be temporarily moving to a new location:

Meet Ariel at Walt Disney Presents will be temporarily unavailable beginning October 28. Ariel will be greeting guests at Echo Lake, near 50’s Prime Time Cafe

As per the notice, the usual location will be closed beginning on October 28, and Ariel will be meeting guests in a new spot.

Since the live-action Little Mermaid meet and greet opened in May 2023, it has taken place inside Walt Disney Presents at a special area themed like the terrace of Prince Eric’s seaside castle.

Temporary Ariel Meet & Greet Location

Guests stroll past the retro 50’s Prime Time Café at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with its colorful sign and outdoor patio seating.

Beginning Tuesday, October 28, Ariel will instead be meeting guests near 50’s Prime Time Café in the central hub area of Echo Lake. No other details have been shared about the change nor how long it will be in this location, just that it is temporary.

There is also no information on why Ariel is being moved, or if there will be more work taking place near Walt Disney Presents. Recently, a new preview center for the many upcoming Walt Disney World expansions was added in the place of the old Disney Cruise Line display.
