The legendary actress Diane Keaton, known for her roles in The Godfather, First Wives Club, Father of the Bride, and many more films has passed away at the age of 79.
Diane Keaton Passed Away

As per The New York Post, Keaton died in California, and her passing was confirmed by her family. No further details are known at this time. Though perhaps best known as an actress, Diane Keaton was also a director, producer, and screenwriter.
Keaton first debuted in 1970 in the film Lovers and Other Strangers. She then gained popularity after starring in several classic films like The Godfather, Manhattan, First Wives Club, and many more. She won both an Oscar and a Golden Globe in 1978 for her work in Annie Hall. She later won a second Golden Globe for Something’s Gotta Give in 2003.

Keaton starred in Father of the Bride and Father of the Bride Part II for Disney. She was also the voice of Jenny, Dory’s mom, in the Pixar film Finding Dory.
Keaton’s most recent film, Summer Camp, released in 2024. Keaton had most recently posted an image of her Golden Retriever, Reggie, on April 11 via her Instagram account. She is survived by her two children, Dexter, 29, and Duke, 25.
