Moriarty has held Disney leadership positions for nearly two decades. Most recently, he has been President and Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort since 2020. During his tenure, Hong Kong Disneyland opened World of Frozen. He was previously CFO at Walt Disney Imagineering and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and held finance leadership roles at Walt Disney World Resort.

Lansberry will retire in February 2026 after 39 years with The Walt Disney Company. He has worked across divisions and departments, including serving as Vice President of Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World, VP of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Senior VP of Worldwide Travel Operations, SVP of Revenue Management and Analytics for Disney Parks, Executive VP and CFO of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, which later expanded to include Consumer Products. He was interim CFO for The Walt Disney Company in 2023 following Christine McCarthy’s departure.

“Michael Moriarty brings a deep understanding of our long-term strategy to broaden the reach and impact of Disney Experiences,” said Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro. “His global perspective and leadership will help guide us through an exciting chapter of growth, reaching new fans in new places and on new platforms.”

Disney will announce Moriarty’s successor at Hong Kong Disneyland at a later date.
