New Walt Disney Imagineering Preview May Be Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A new curtain has been added to the Disney Cruise Line display inside Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, implying something new is on the way.

Walt Disney Presents

People walk past the entrance of "Walt Disney Presents" and its exhibits at Disney's Hollywood Studios under a colorful marquee.

Walt Disney Presents is a building located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios with exhibits related to Walt Disney, as well as upcoming Disney films. There are also some displays related to the theme parks and Disney Cruise Line. The exhibit space connects to The Walt Disney Theater, which rotates between showings of Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream and previews of upcoming films.

Four colorful costumes are showcased on mannequins in an exhibit at Disney's Hollywood Studios: One Man's Dream.

Inside the back exhibit area closest to the theater, some changes have been made. There are still some displays with costumes and props from the Disney Channel movie Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires.

However, the majority of this space used to be dedicated to the Pixar film Elio. Most of the references to Elio have now been removed, apart from this one remaining display in the center of the room.

Several of the Elio displays on the walls have been removed, leaving blank spaces for now. We expect these will be replaced with something new in the near future. The theater is also back to showing One Man’s Dream instead of the Elio preview clip.

Disney Cruise Line Display Updates

However, one of the most significant changes to Walt Disney Presents is located in the back of the space. This particular wall used to have a display dedicated to Disney Cruise Line. Since 2021, the display has been focused on the Disney Wish.

As seen in our article with a complete tour of the exhibit, this display window had several pieces of concept art for the Disney Wish, as well as a life-size maquette of the Cinderella statue from the Grand Hall. Gold art with Captain Minnie was attached to the top of the wall.

A dimly lit museum exhibit at One Man's Dream features photos and displays behind glass, patterned carpet in the foreground.

According to a nearby Cast Member, the glass for this display has been blocked by a curtain since earlier this week. A sign on the glass says “We’re curating more magic for display, please come back another day!” The gold Minnie art from the wall is also missing.

Should this window retain its Disney Cruise Line theming, it is possible the display is getting new items related to a more recent ship. The Disney Treasure began its sailings earlier this year, and the Disney Adventure just departed the shipyard for sea trials. The Disney Destiny also recently revealed new details for some of the ship’s spaces prior to its scheduled sailings this November. It is possible one or several of these ships will be getting new items. Stay tuned to WDWNT for the latest updates.
