You’ll be terrified and soaked in the Terrifier haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights 2025 in Universal Studios Hollywood.
Terrifier House
Nothing can prepare you for this grisly haunted house based on all three of Damien Leone’s Terrifier films. Try your luck against the sadistic Art the Clown in his twisted funhouse. Witness Art’s gleefully grotesque handiwork of torture. You’ll be left literally dripping with terror and drenched with fear. It’s a whole new level of gore!
This house is based on all three Terrifier films, released from 2016 to 2024. The films feature Art the Clown, a sadistic serial killer who murders his victims in various gruesome ways. The main protagonist of the two sequels is Sienna Shaw, who battles Art the Clown multiple times. As it turns out, he can’t be killed easily. Sienna even cuts off his head and he’s able to come back to life. Art is assisted in his killing by the Little Pale Girl and Victoria Heyes. The latter begins as a hero in the first film, but after being disfigured by Art, becomes obsessed with him.
Unlike the Universal Studios Florida version of the house, there is no wet path and dry path for the house’s finale. Guests will get wet, as a sign outside warns.
The house is in the Curious George Tent 2, behind The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The facade is the entrance to the Terrifier attraction at an abandoned carnival, featuring a grim reaper, a devil with glowing eyes, and various scary animals. Guests enter through the glowing red mouth of a clown. Before even entering the house, guests may encounter Art wandering around outside.
As we noted in our review of the Florida version of this house, this is a highlight reel of Art’s kills, and it’s gory. Guests who aren’t familiar with the films may be shocked by the level of gore. HHN creatives even said it may be their goriest house ever.
Guests visit famous set pieces from the Terrifier films, like the Clown Cafe, and witness a particularly gross bathroom scene. It culminates in Art’s Christmas blood bath.
