Gyozas of the Galaxy Reviews
(NEW) Buffalo-style Dumplings – $6
Chicken dumplings with buffalo sauce, celery root purée, blue cheese cream, crumbled blue cheese, shaved carrot, and micro celery

These have a nice kick and a good dumpling texture. For $6, this is also an excellent value. It’s not too spicy (though some spice is definitely present), not too greasy, and just a general crowd-pleaser for most guests. We all really enjoyed these and would recommend.

(NEW) French Onion Soup-style Dumplings – $6
Pork and beef soup dumplings with caramelized onions, sherry-beef broth, onion and Gruyère soubise, parmesan cracker, and micro chives

These dumplings scratch an itch for soup dumplings and are executed very well. There is a note of fall spices, or perhaps something like cardamom that snuck in on the back side. That being said, these are fantastic. We only rate them as a 6 because we ate them last, and they had cooled off by the time we got there. We definitely recommend eating this fresh when they are still warm.

(NEW) Street Corn-style Dumplings – $6
Chicken dumplings with tomatillo salsa verde, street corn salad, cotija cheese, lime crema, and cilantro

The texture on these is perfect, and if you don’t like spicy foods, these will be perfect alternative to the buffalo chicken. The cilantro might scare some people off, but it’s not too strong. The veggies were fresh, and the flavors worked together very well. The proportions of each ingredient were just right. Overall, these are another big winner.

(NEW) Pineapple Colada – $12
White rum, DOLE Pineapple Juice, and sweetened coconut milk

The cream separates from the rest of the drink if you aren’t pretty quick drinking it, but a little stir is all it needs. That being said, we felt this was a little on the weak side. The rum was not very noticeable. With that, it primarily tasted like pineapple juice with a splash of coconut for $12. Overall, this was a let down compared to the gyozas.
