Promenade Fine Art Gallery at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort Closing Next Month

The Promenade Fine Art Gallery location at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn will close next month, according to Cast Members.

Red building with white columns and arches, open doors, greenery, and a black circular hanging sign by the entrance.

The shop is located outside the main building, between the BoardWalk lobby and Screen Door General Store. It’s one of three Promenade Fine Art Galleries locations, the other two being an open display walk at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and a gallery in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Cast Members indicated the company would still be around “somewhere,” which may mean they are moving to a new permanent location somewhere else at Walt Disney World, or that they will sell artwork in other stores. The company usually appears at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, for example.

The artwork currently available in the store includes intricate Disney sculptures and paintings, as well as non-Disney pieces.

The store is set to close on October 19. We don’t know what will happen to the space after that, and so far no official announcements of a replacement have been made by Disney.

There have been many changes to Disney’s BoardWalk in recent months, including a remodel of Stage Door General Store, the closure of Jellyrolls, and lobby updates.
