Amid the refresh of the Disney’s Pop Century Resort lobby, a new mural featuring Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck has been revealed.
New Pop Century Lobby Mural

Work began in the lobby in late July and is set to continue through early October. Earlier this month, half of the check-in area and the facing wall were blocked off. These areas have now been revealed, and the other walls are blocked.
There were previously framed artifacts, photos, and memorabilia on the blue wall across from the check-in area. The wall is still blue, but its metallic silver columns are now covered with wood-style paneling.
The new mural covers two sections of the wall. It features flat retro designs. On Minnie’s section, there are vintage TVs, bowling pins, records, and old cars.

The images are mostly in shades of blue with yellow and pink highlights. Minnie bows and polka dots fill out the designs. Minnie is pictured in a letterman jacket with a pink “M” on the chest, plus a pink skirt and bow.
The Daisy section of the wall has sunglasses, flowers, and peace signs — reflecting a more 1960s aesthetic versus Minnie’s 1950s style. Instead of pink, Daisy’s wall has purple and green highlights, along with yellow.

Instead of Minnie bows, there are duck feet. Daisy is pictured in a purple dress with green buttons and a matching hat.
The rest of the blue wall is blocked by curtains and scrim. It’s possible the mural will be extended, featuring different Disney characters and iconography representing more decades.
The half of the check-in area closer to Everything POP Shopping & Dining is now blocked, while the other half is open.
Instead of one counter running the length of the wall, there are now two long counters. Presumably, the counter behind the construction walls will also be split into two.
Instead of multi-colored wave-patterned fronts, the counters now have wood paneling. The black marble tops have been replaced by gray marble.
The walls behind the counters were repainted blue and lime green. These walls used to be all green, with more framed items representing the different decades. For now, the walls are blank, but we bet new artwork will be installed before the refresh is complete.
For reference, above is what the lobby used to look like.
Earlier this year, Everything POP was refurbished and received a new coffee shop.
