Heaven Dein Young-Harry, 20, of Rosemount, MN, has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor battery. Her attorney declined to comment while the case is pending. Her trial is scheduled for November 3, according to court records.

The not-so-magical moment happened around 9:30 p.m. on June 25, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s arrest report that was just released. The park’s nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After, began at 9:20 p.m. that evening.

A Cast Member was in charge of directing the pedestrian traffic at the hub by Cinderella Castle, which has a tendency to get big crowds, especially during fireworks.

The Disney Cast Member said she noticed a woman coming at her and ran into her right shoulder. The woman tried to move past the Cast Member’s left side even though the Cast Member was holding on to a metal railing with her left hand to block people from coming through, the arrest report said.

“The subject pushed (the employee) to the ground. (The employee) stated that within seconds a good Samaritan intervened, securing the subject physically, and then other Disney employees, Security, and Orange County Deputies arrived on scene,” the arrest report said. “The subject became belligerent and aggressive towards responding personnel.”

The Cast Member’s left arm and finger had minor injuries but she was not transported to the hospital.

The Cast Member said she wanted to press criminal charges and said law enforcement had identified her attacker quickly because of the quick intervention from those around her.

Several people were witnesses and saw what unfolded, according to the arrest report.

A North Carolina tourist told law enforcement that Young-Harry was not allowed to access the walkway so she pushed the Cast Member to the ground.

The bystander got involved and held Young-Harry until Disney security and law enforcement came to the Cast Member’s aid.

A second Disney Cast Member also assigned to crowd control at the castle reported seeing the suspect “moving left and right quickly to attempt to move around (the victim) and then simply pushed her to the ground,” the report said.

When confronted by the sheriff’s office, Young-Harry asked to speak with an attorney and was not interviewed by law enforcement.

Other recent incidents at Walt Disney World include a man arrested for grand theft at the Swan Hotel and a fight at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
